High School Honors Luncheon
The Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA) High School Outreach Task Force is pleased to present the eighth annual High School Honors Luncheon (HSHL). This luncheon recognizes top business and accounting students and shows them the exciting opportunities available in the accounting profession. It is also a chance for educators and guidance counselors to learn about the Georgia Society of CPAs and the many educational resources available.
The GSCPA High School Honors Luncheon will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at Maggiano’s in Buckhead. Metro-Atlanta high school guidance counselors and teachers will be sent an invitation encouraging them to nominate one student from their school to be honored at the luncheon. The student and the educator will attend along with one parent/guardian. We expect approximately 50 students and 50 guidance counselors and teachers to attend the program.
Firms are invited to attend the luncheon as a sponsor and to begin developing a relationship with upcoming students. The cost to be an event sponsor ranges from $100 for a student sponsorship to $1,000 for a gold sponsorship. Firms are invited to sponsor more than one student and are asked to share promotional brochures and materials with attendees as items for the goodie-bags or as door prizes.
